TIMOTHY HAUG

"No matter where you want to go, there's always a way to get there."

Timothy Haug was born in Santa Rosa, California and raised in Cloverdale, CA. He took his first step towards acting, while attending Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska on a football scholarship. After learning about open auditions for a play on campus, Timothy took a chance and auditioned for the theatre depatment, which led to an appearance in a production of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf." He immediately caught the acting-bug and wanted to find a way to pursue it.

It wasn't an easy road to get where he wanted to go, but nothing was going to get in the way of it. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree from Hastings College, Timothy moved back home to save money and get a Master's Degree at Sonoma State University. His plan was to move to Los Angeles, after graduating. But, life is full of surprises. Timothy fell in love with a Brazilian girl after multiple trips to Brazil and studying abroad there for one summer, which led to the hardest decision of his life. He had to choose between the love of his life or moving to L.A. to follow his dream of being an actor. He chose the love of his life and after graduating, he moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil. He got married six months later.

Even though he didn't choose to pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he still couldn't get away from the entertainment industry. While walking through a shopping mall in Sao Paulo, Timothy was approached by a model scout. He ended up signing with a Brazilian acting and modeling agency the next week. After a couple modeling jobs and a national commercial appearance, Timothy was hooked again and excited about a second chance at pursuing his dream. He decided to take acting classes in Los Angeles and go from there. He spent six months away from his wife and fell in love with it. He knew that he wanted to pursue acting as a career. And, his time in L.A. confirmed that. His wife knew as well. While she was visiting him in Los Angeles, his wife encouraged him to pursue his dream and the rest was history. They decided to officially move to Los Angeles and enter the entertainment industry.

Timothy has appeared in several projects, since arriving in Los Angeles. He is best known for playing the lead in Dillon Francis's music video "Not Butter," as well as the lead in the short film "Sins of Our Fathers" and a supporting role in the short film "Figments of an Indigenous Mind."
